Cybersafety at School

horizontal line

The majority of information that our students learn about technology is learned in their classroom. For this reason, it is logical for them to learn online safety and ethics as they learn how to use the technologies that will be a large part of their future. These pages are available to teachers in order to assist in their endeavors to teach those safety measures.

The National Technology Plan and The National Educational Technology Standards for Students, discussed on the Standards page, can be used as you plan your technology activities with your students. As you will see when you peruse the teacher’s section, there are some curriculums available to teach CyberSafety. In addition there are various lesson plans not necessarily associated with curriculums that can be helpful. Finally, you will find links for CyberSafety activities that your students may enjoy and technology links that you may find useful in your classroom.
