Cybercrime Task Force - The Georgia CyberCrime
Task Force (GCTF) consists of law enforcement
and prosecutors across Georgia that work cybercrime
cases and work together to share resources and
information.
Georgia
Bureau of Investigation - The Georgia Bureau
of Investigation is an independent, statewide
agency that provides assistance to the state's
criminal justice system in the areas of criminal
investigations, forensic laboratory services
and computerized criminal justice information.
The Mission of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation
is to provide the highest quality investigative,
scientific, and information services and resources
to the criminal justice community and others
as authorized by law, for the purpose of maintaining
law and order and protecting life and property.
The Mission will be achieved by a team of skilled
and dedicated employees, utilizing innovative
programs and state of the art technology.
Georgia
Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) - A part
of the Office of the Governor, The Georgia Emergency
Management Agency (GEMA) operates under the
authority of the Emergency Management Act of
1981. Virtually all GEMA employees are on 24-hour
call to assist local authorities in responding
to emergencies. GEMA’s mission is to provide
a comprehensive and aggressive emergency preparedness,
response and recovery program for the citizens
of Georgia in order to save lives, protect property
and reduce the effects of disasters. Legislation
signed into law by the Governor on April 21,
1999 directs the Georgia Emergency Management
Agency to provide training and technical assistance
on the issues of school safety to the education,
emergency management, and public safety communities
of Georgia. These services are provided through
the staff of the School Safety Project.
InfraGard
Atlanta - InfraGard's goal is to improve
and extend information sharing between private
industry and the government, particularly the
FBI, when it comes to critical national infrastructures.

and cyber-based systems essential to the minimum
operations of the economy and government. These
systems are so vital, that their incapacity
or destruction would have a debilitating impact
on the defense or economic security of the United
States." - President William J. Clinton,
1998 The InfraGard leadership team in Atlanta
believe that our nation's children are also
part of its critical infrastructure without
which we could not function as an effective
nation. The Georgia ICAC Task Force efforts
are a vital contribution to the safety and security
of our nations most valuable and cherished assets,
our children.

Atlanta Information Systems Security Association
(ISSA) - With active participation from
individuals and chapters all over the world,
the ISSA (www.issa.org and ciso.issa.org) is
the largest international, not-for-profit association
for security professionals. It provides educational
forums, CISO executive forums, information resources
and peer interaction opportunities that enhance
the knowledge, skill and professional growth
of its members. The ISSA has over 13,000 members
in nearly 100 chapters around the world. ISSA
members are consistently recognized as experts
on critical issues in all areas of information
security, and the group is seen as an important
resource for small businesses, global enterprises
and government organizations, focused on providing
a single source of leadership and maintaining
its position as The Global Voice of Information
Security.

International Information Systems Forensics
Association (IISFA) - The *International
Information Systems Forensics Association* (IISFA)
is a nonprofit organization whose mission is
to promote the discipline of information forensics
in the form of evangelism, education, and certification.
The Greater Atlanta Chapter, formed in 2003,
expands on the goals of International by bringing
together security professionals and law enforcement
officials for the purpose of bridging the gap
between corporate cybercrime investigation and
federal, state, and local cybercrime prosecution.

Chapter High Technology Crime Investigation
Association (HTCIA) - The High Technology
Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) is designed
to encourage, promote, and facilitate the interchange
of data, experience, ideas, and methodologies
relating to investigations and security in advanced
technologies. We are one of 37 chapters of the
International HTCIA organization.
